Before establishing the Law Offices of Richard D. Trainor in 1996, he obtained his juris doctor from John Marshall Law School in 1976. He went on to serve as a prosecutor for the Cook County State Attorney’s Office and then later as a town attorney for Michiana Shores, Indiana. While in private practice Mr. Trainor has concentrated in the area of civil litigation and business transactions
Richard Trainor is able to apply the skills, insight and judgment he has obtained through thirty-six years as a practicing attorney to achieve effective results for his clients.
He is admitted to practice in the States of Illinois and Indiana. He is also admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court, the United States 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial lawyers Association.
